Kafka

Kafka did not like empire. His work could be interpreted as anti empire, using metaphors to represent empire in them. He often used his dad in his stories which could be an example of a metaphor for empire and how oppressive it can be. It helped me understand Empire on a more personal level, being able to compare it to my life experiences with an oppressive parent.
